Directions to the GLADE Centre

The GLADE Centre is ideally situated within a good road network, within the market town of Ilminster , Somerset . 

From the M5 Motorway at Taunton

From Junction 25 at Taunton , follow signs to Ilminster on A358 for approx. 8 miles.  At the roundabout, take the exit signed Ilminster.   Follow the signs for Town Centre, turning right down North Street (one way).  At the bottom of the hill at the cross roads, turn left.  Drive up this hill about 100m and take the right hand turning – Frog Lane.  The GLADE Centre is the long building on the right; the second door on the right hand side set back in a small porch.

From the A303 travelling from the west

When approaching Ilminster, leave the A303 at the roundabout & follow signs to Ilminster town centre, turning right down North Street (one way).  At the bottom of the hill at the cross roads turn left.  Drive up this hill about 100m and take the right hand turning – Frog Lane.  The GLADE Centre is the long building on the right; the second door on the right hand side set back in a small porch.

From the A303 travelling from the east

Leave the A303 at the South Petherton roundabout and turn on to the road signed Ilminster town centre and Seavington St Michael.  Pass through Seavington St Michael and Whitelackington.  On reaching Ilminster, take the left hand turn into East Street and signed town centre (also signed with a brown Arts Centre sign).  Drive two thirds down the hill and take the sharp left into Frog Lane .  The GLADE Centre is the long building on the right; the second door on the right hand side set back in a small porch.

For car parking

1) TESCO car park; Go to the cross roads by the Market House.  Take the left hand turn into Ditton Street and continueto the ‘give way’.  Turn left into Shudrick Lane and into TESCO Car Park for three hours parking. To exit on foot to The GLADE Centre, walk across the zebra crossing and leave up the steps by the ‘Goodbye’ sign.  Cross the lane and walk up the pedestrian path – coloured red.  At the top, turn left into Frog Lane and continue past Ilminster Bikes & Leisure and the double gates.  The GLADE Centre is the next door on your left, set back in a small porch.

2) West Street car park; Go to the cross roads by the Market House and drive along the one way system.  Continue past the Minster church on your right and up the hill.  Take the left turn, signed West Street car park for pay and display parking. On foot re-trace your route along the one way ( Silver Street ).  Continue straight on up east Street and take the right turn – Frog Lane .  The GLADE Centre is the long building on the right; the second door on the right hand side set back in a small porch.
