World in Our Backyard

Whole
day session for up to 30 pupils (KS 2-3) to investigate the global story of 3
locally sold items. An excellent way of demonstrating interdependence and
sustainable development through Trade Justice

Their
daily life is put into context as pupils find out what people stories lie behind
the products
Through
playing a simulation game, pupils learn about the challenges facing producers of
one of our everyday foods (cocoa game, coffee trade game etc) or simple
packaging for food items.
