Volunteers
There
are always opportunities to volunteer at Glade. The Glade Centre is warm and
welcoming. If you have a passion for Global issues, time to spare, and
want to work alongside people who share your passion then why not drop in and
see us. We particularly need

to look after our resource collection

to support the Glade membership.

to update the web site and bring it into the 21st century!
Glade

GLADE is expanding!
We are looking for qualified secondary school teachers with a passionate
interest in Global issues and world development to help us deliver workshops and
seminars to schools and community groups across
Somerset
and the South West.
Work will be on a self employed sessional basis, and is likely to be very
occasional initially, but could build up as demand grows. Our aim is to create a
bank of teachers on whom we can call.
Teachers with specific
expertise and experience in global issues are particularly welcome to apply.
Those participating will be encourages to commit to the
Global trainer programme, this is a one-year
course developed jointly by the DEA and the
Institute
of
Education
.
