At any one time, DEED is involved in a number of projects to promote global understanding in schools and the community. We usually work in partnership with others - education authorities or community groups in Dorset and development organisations in the UK and overseas. |
CURRENT AND RECENT PROJECTS include:

It consists of a programme of creative workshops for children and linked training for early years practitioners and children's families, designed to develop their understanding and awareness of the world and building the foundations of global citizenship. Funded by the Community Fund. For further information, contact Joanna Brightwell at DEED |
Thinking Positively, Making a Difference - a programme fo
workshops and INSET for schools and community groups using successful examples of people
around the world working for their own development and acting as role model 'global
citizens'. Topics include women's and children's rights, food and fair trade.
